The Committee generates excitement and solicits participation through flyers and emails so students can present their artwork and/or science projects to the WHE community. The Committee works with Administration to schedule the event, organize submissions and award students with medals or ribbons. Timing – Planning begins after winter break, April event.
The Science and Art Fair content and participants overlap, in large part, with STEAMFest and the Technology Fair. So as not to divert resources and to encourage student participation in the other two events, the PTO voted not to hold the Fair in 2020 or 2021. That decision will be revisited should circumstances or interest change.
